Conflict Resolution

Grau IC LogoThis series led by Jennifer Grau prepares individuals to participate most effectively in organizations and achieve maximum results by managing conflict productively. Through this training you will learn to identify the root causes of conflict, work through a conflict with expertise, and discover solutions that go beyond compromise into the realm of win-win.

An in-person version of this training is presented to Fortune 500 companies, educational institutions, governmental entities, and large non-profit organizations. Because Jennifer believes in the work that CEDAM members are doing, we are able to offer this virtual version at an extremely generous rate. Please note each purchase only grants 1 copy of the training for 1 person and it may not be shared. Terms of Use (PDF).

The series includes three video modules that are approximately 20-30 minutes each. A set of printed materials and exercises are paired with each module.

Responding to Conflict by Listening to Emotion
Participants will gain insight into the role language choice and emotion play in working through conflict, and how each can escalate or deescalate conflict. Learn how to encourage others to listen to you.

Productively Responding to Conflict – Part 1
Learn to see conflict in a different way and identify the best way to respond to a particular conflict. Walk through a mock-conflict applicable to a work environment.

Productively Responding to Conflict – Part 2
The final module uses the tools previously learned and shows how to apply them to conflicts in work and everyday life. Learn techniques to identify common ground and take a given situation and turn it into something productive.
