Lansing Financial Empowerment Center: In January 2013, the City of Lansing announced selection for funding from Bloomberg Philanthropies and the Living Cities’ Cities for Financial Empowerment (CFE) Fund to create a Financial Empowerment Center, which will provide 4,000 Lansing residents free, one-on-one financial counseling over the next three years.
