St. Johns, Jonathan Bowman

Jonathan Bowman is a recent Master of Public Administration (MPA) graduate from Grand Valley State University. He is a young professional with future aspirations of city management. During his MPA program, Jonathan had the opportunity to work with two municipalities, the Village of Sparta and the City of Novi. Over the last year with the City of Novi, as their Graduate Management Analyst, he became further inspired with the work of local government. This position brought experience in the fields of community and economic development. Sparked by a newfound passion for these areas, Jonathan was led to the CEDAM Fellowship.

Thrilled for this opportunity Jonathan is ready to hit the ground running in the City of St. Johns. Through this fellowship, Jonathan aims to assist St. Johns in their redevelopment ready efforts and other economic development related opportunities for the City. Bringing energy, new perspective, and an analytical eye, Jonathan believes he can be an asset for the City of St. Johns. Looking to the future, he hopes to build deep and meaningful relationships with the community of St. Johns while making a positive impact on the local economy.
