Mount Clemens, Kate Bell
Kate Bell is a 2020-21 Community Development Fellow working to support and advance community economic development goals in the city of Mount Clemens. She received her Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Politics at Mount Holyoke College. Kate’s professional experience mirrors her passion for leveraging the tools of state and local governments to facilitate long-lasting and effective policymaking. Prior to joining this fellowship cohort, she served the people of Boston, Massachusetts, as a Neighborhood Liaison for City Councilor Josh Zakim and conducted energy policy research as a graduate intern with the National Conference of State Legislatures.
