Kalkaska, Rae Gosling

Rae Gosling is a city girl doing community and economic development in a rural world.  She brings a colorful work history including corporate positions, small business management, and most recently as a Main Street director for Grayling, MI, that has helped to build an eclectic collection of experiences and knowledge. She was first introduced to small business management while attending Regis University in Denver, CO.  This experience starter her down a path for helping communities address growth and change.

Her move to a small community in Northern Michigan kicked off a new way of life, a life centered on place.  Her role as a Main Street director strengthened her passion for serving small businesses and traditional main streets.  Since 2016 she has dedicated herself and her family, to supporting local, building the best place to create memories, and growing friends into family.  She is a Main Street America Revitalization Professional, is active in her community as a member of community boards, and coaches youth athletics.
