Buena Vista Charter Township, Joseph Lobodzinski

Joseph is placed in Buena Vista Charter Township. He looks forward to supporting economic development efforts in the Township, such as attracting new businesses to the area, addressing blight, and acquiring grant funding. Joseph brings experience in community service and investment.

While attending the University of Michigan, he was heavily involved with different organizations seeking to make the campus and the surrounding community a better place for all. He was elected to the University’s Central Student Government and served as Vice Speaker of the Assembly, where he spearheaded multiple projects to help the 45,000+ students living on or near campus. He is looking forward to developing himself through the lens of public service while serving in this role, before either continuing his professional career in development or by enrolling in graduate school to obtain a Masters in Public Policy.

Joseph speaks fluent German and was inducted into the National Political Science Honor Society. Joseph holds an associate degree in Applied Sciences from Ferris State University and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
