Bridgeport Charter Township, Michelle McGregor
Michelle McGregor, a native of Detroit Michigan, graduated from the Detroit Public School District and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences with Dietetics and a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Michigan State University. After completing her education at Michigan State, Michelle relocated to Saginaw, Michigan, to assist in establishing Kingdom Life Ministries, International, where she serves as Staff Pastor.
Michelle has taken roots in the Saginaw community and has been involved in various leadership training and positions over the past 20 years. In 2020, the YWCA of GLBR honored Michelle with the 2020 Women of Achievement Award for Social Justice. She is a graduate of Saginaw County’s 2004 class of Vision 2020-1000 Leaders, 2014 Leadership Saginaw County, and Saginaw Valley African-American Leadership Training Institute (SVAALTI), where she was the recipient of the Ted Braun Community Service Award. She also completed the Millionaire Mindset Program, the Non-Profit “Best Practices” Management Program offered through Saginaw Valley State University and United Way. Michelle has an entrepreneurial heart and is a graduate of the Michigan Small Business and Technology Development Center’s Fast Trac New Venture Entrepreneurial Training Program.
Michelle serves as a board member of the Michigan Afterschool Association, the Saginaw County Consortium of Homeless Assistance Providers, and the City of Light Community Development Corporation. After 20 years of service at First Ward Community Service/EnVision Center, the CEO and Director of Youth Services is retiring to make a career pivot. Michelle’s new journey begins in community economic development through the fellowship program serving in Bridgeport Charter Township.
