Update on Show Me the Money Day
CEDAM is pressing pause on our Show Me The Money Day (SMTMD) program for the 2025–2026 season. With the close of our AmeriCorps program and shifts in the community development landscape, we’re taking this opportunity to thoughtfully re-evaluate SMTMD and explore how it might evolve to best meet the needs of communities across Michigan.

What is Show Me the Money Day?
Show Me the Money Day is a free, community-centered event that connects individuals and families with affordable financial products, essential resources, and practical financial education. These events are designed to create a welcoming environment where attendees can learn, engage, and take steps toward achieving their financial goals.
From January to June, CEDAM members host SMTMD events across Michigan. By aligning with tax season, SMTMD provides timely tools and information to help build assets and improve the financial well-being of Michigan residents.
Why SMTMD Matters
For over a decade, SMTMD has made a significant impact by increasing access to financial resources and education across Michigan. These events foster stronger connections between community members, local organizations, and financial institutions, laying the groundwork for long-term financial stability and success.
