Michigan Mobility Fellows Program

CEDAM is partnering with the Detroit Revitalization Fellows, the State of Michigan’s Office of Future Mobility and Electrification and Michigan Central to launch the Michigan (MI) Mobility Fellows Program.

The MI Mobility Fellows Program is a highly selective 15-month fellowship that attracts talent from all over the country to gain real-world experience in transportation planning and mobility innovation. This fellowship will offer participants two unique career tracks that will expose them to the public and private sectors to advance and grow mobility innovation in Michigan.

The MI Mobility Fellows is launching its initial cohort this year. Each track will host five fellows from October 2024 – December 2025.

While we have asked host sites for initial job descriptions, these descriptions are fluid and subject to change based on the evolving needs & projects at the host site. The job descriptions (linked below) are an effort to produce an outline of the role that will match the potential fellow’s skillset with the host sites’ needs and goals. Job descriptions will be continuously adjusted up to, and even shortly after, the start of the fellowship term. The current job descriptions allow applicants to see where their skillset may best align when applying. This ensures optimal fellow placement to maximize the benefits of the fellowship experience for fellows and host sites.

The position descriptions layout specific experiences that are preferred, not required. We strongly encourage you to apply for any position that interests you. You are able to apply for multiple positions, and a new application is required for each position. Click here to view application tips.
