Jennifer Lareau-Gee, Communications Specialist

As CEDAM’s communications specialist, Jennifer is responsible for the implementation and management of CEDAM’s communication plan. She works with CEDAM’s programmatic teams and our members to produce social media content, blogs, print materials, and website content to share their impact, success, and stories. Additionally, she supports internal communications, strategies, and the development of conference materials.

Jennifer has a background in editing and writing. Prior to joining CEDAM, she worked at the Michigan State University College of Nursing as the Academic Editor where she edited journal articles, grant applications, and more, as well as produced internal and external communications. Jennifer has worked with the University of Olivet as a freelance editor and writer for the past five years, and continues to do so. She also worked as a freelance writer for and as a freelance editor for multiple organizations, including the University of Michigan College of Engineering. 

Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University with a double major in professional writing and English. She has a Master’s of Science in professional writing from New York University. In her free time, she’s probably reading a book or playing video games. Her favorite thing, other than her dog, is cruising with her husband.
