Alexander Arcari, MHC Corps Program Coordinator

As program coordinator for the MI Healthy Climate (MHC) Corps, Alexander works hand-in-hand with the MHC Corps program manager to support servicemembers at host partner organizations to further climate change initiatives statewide. He serves as the first point of contact for the day-to-day functions of the MHC Corp members. Alexander also assists in the recruitment and training process for host sites and members, conducts program administrative duties, and engages in outreach initiatives to share the program’s success.

Prior to joining CEDAM, Alexander worked in the manufacturing industry in a variety of roles. Most recently, his role as Project Coordinator consisted of managing gage manufacturing projects and orders from start to finish. While working in the manufacturing industry, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in political science with minors in Spanish and psychology. Alexander was also a fellow in the Office for Haley Stevens for Congress in 2021, where he participated in discussions of policy initiatives in the 11th District to analyze their effects on small businesses across Michigan.

In his free time, Alexander enjoys traveling. He’s visited multiple countries, including Argentina, Costa Rica, Italy, Portugal, Puerto Rico, and Spain. Additionally, Alexander is fascinated by learning new languages. He is fully fluent in Spanish and has been studying Japanese for two years. His hope is to better connect with all multilingual and multicultural individuals in Michigan and beyond.
