Orletta Caldwell
As the Michigan Coalition for Responsible Lending Consultant, Orletta Caldwell is responsible for legislative strategy, mobilizing the coalition, coordinating town halls and conducting payday lending research on trends and lending prevention strategies in other states
Orletta is a passionate and well-qualified educator and nonprofit management specialist. Caldwell brings more than 30 years of administrative and leadership experience to her learning center coordinator position for Workforce Opportunity Services. Highlights of a stellar and diverse career include executive assistant to VP/CIO of Jostens Inc., a Fortune 100 company, executive director, Camp Baber and Assistant Professor at Grand Rapids Community College. She has served in many professional and volunteer capacities including the Urban Renewal Commission for the city of Colorado Springs, Colorado; board member/secretary, Association of Gospel Rescue Missions and the Southfield Downtown Development Authority for Southfield, Michigan. She earned her bachelors of public affairs from Wayne State University, masters of science in management from Cardinal Stritch and is completing her Ph.D. in public policy & administration specializing in nonprofit management from Walden University.
