What is the Developing Vibrant Communities conference?

Developing Vibrant Communities (DVC) is designed to inspire and equip organizations, advocates, and partners with the community economic development and financial empowerment strategies needed to positively transform their communities. This is CEDAM and CDAD’s premier training event for those working to make their communities inclusive, empowered, sustainable and vibrant.

Request for Proposals 

CDAD and CEDAM welcome proposals from regional, statewide, national and international speakers and presenters who wish to bring their expertise and passion to the premier conference for community economic development and financial capability in Michigan. Gene Kuthy Award

To honor the late Gene Kuthy’s legacy, CEDAM is honoring a person who embodies Gene’s positive and unique attributes: fun, larger than life, generous, an incredible networker, a champion of a particular program and more. The Award will be presented at the Developing Vibrant Communities (DVC) conference and $2,500 will be given to the organization for which the recipient serves.

Eligibility requirements: The nominee must be a current or former board member of a current CEDAM member.
