Essential Functions (Job Duties) Job Purpose:
Provide program management and operational support for the Detroit Revitalization Fellows
(DRF) program. Specifically, manage aspects of the Fellows’ experience, assess and
evaluate programming and Fellows’ impact, coordinate professional development and other
DRF events and assist/collaborate with the Director on alumni relations.
Collaborate with the DRF team to plan and execute Lunch & Learn workshops relevant to
Fellows’ post-fellowship transition.
Execute and support new and ongoing alumni engagement opportunities and activities
including professional development workshops, social gatherings, study trip participation
and the DRF Homecoming.
Seek out, evaluate and build relationships with subject matter experts and consultants who
are capable of providing the best possible delivery of programming to Fellows and alumni.
Coordinate one study trip and be available to travel April 13th through April 18th, 2019. This
includes but is not limited to the development of an agenda, interfacing with subject matter
experts, and logistics such as securing venues, catering, parking, and processing invoices,
Serve as a program liaison and engage Fellows and alumni.
Implement the program’s existing assessment and evaluation strategy including monthly
session surveys, Fellows’ job trackers, feedback summaries and presentations and
communicating with the program’s
Attend monthly sessions and assist the Fellows’ Experience Manager, as requested.

Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Public
Administration, Communications, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Community and
Economic Development or an equivalent combination of education and/or other related
experience is required.
Minimum of five (5) years of job-related experience. Experience in program and project
management, specifically in managing projects with multiple stakeholders. Experience
coordinating events or specific initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications Experience as an employee and/or intern at a nonprofit organization, social service agency
or educational institution is desirable.
Experience planning or facilitating professional development activities is preferred.
Familiarity with Detroit’s civic, community and economic development landscape is a plus.
